*** African Safari Tour Tips ***

There are a multitude of overland truck companies and packages from which to choose.  Not an easy task by any means.  It was made a bit easier for me, due to a very strong recommendation by close friends.  I chose Africa Travel Co., they had the best price/package for the 56 day trek.  My friend Kat works for the organization and was very helpful getting everything set up for me.  My recommendation is to look at your money/time budget and plan along those lines.  There are packages out their that are more expensive and afford you the luxuries you may desire while out in the bush.  While I was on the road I had the opportunity to meet other people traveling with other companies.  Gap seemed to be very popular and people seemed to be very happy with that organization.  The main thing to consider, is who you go with on the trip.  The people and the way in which they relate to each other will make or break the trip.  Here is a link I used that I found to be very helpful.
