Mount Kilimanjaro - The Commercialization of Mountaineering

After an 8 hour drive from Nairobi, we arrived in Moshi to spend the night and hit the trailhead the following morning.  I snapped a shot of cloud covered Kili in the morning from just outside the hotel.

At the front gate to pick up our permits.  A sign of the mobs to come.

On the way to the trailhead, it must have been the banana harvest.

Finally at the trailhead, time to fly up the mountain.
